As the maximum distance over which we can shoot at Worcester Norton is 50 metres we arrange club visits to other venues for long range shoots. Currently we have bookings on the range at Severnside about once a month. Dates and times are posted on the calendar page of this website.
Severnside Ranges
 This is private outdoor range (no NRA ‘Certificate of Competence’ required), shooting at 100 and 200 metres. All of the calibres we can shoot at Worcester Norton are allowed.

 Facilities
 There’s a basic club house for shelter and rudimentary toilets
What you need to bring
Gun(s) and ammunition. No ammunition stock on site.
Shooting mat. A look at the pictures tells you why.
Waterproofs. Just in case.
Spotting scope.
Food and drink.
Targets. A roll of wall lining paper is also useful to make a clean target backing when zeroing.
Stapler and spare staples a good idea too.
Arrangements
 If you plan to go you must book with either Roger Bill (Shooting Supplies, Bromsgrove), or Gareth Biddle. The range fee is £10 per person, payable on the day to the WNSC Range Officer of the day when you sign in with your name and club membership number. You are then covered under the WNSC insurance policy when shooting. Shooting is loosely squadded with target changes approximately every 30 minutes.
How to get there
 As a rough guide the journey time from Worcester Norton is about 1 hr 15 mins. Remember, the Severn Bridge toll charge.
M5 South then
M50 then
A40 then
A449 to J24 of the M4
Take the M4 towards Bristol to J23 Magor.

At J23 follow the B4245 for 3 miles to Rogiet, watch for the sign to the railway station.

Follow the sign to the railway station.
When you reach the entrance to the station take the bridge over the railway then over the motorway
At the T-junction turn left and follow the unmade road.
This leads directly to the range site.
Park by the hut and you will be directed from  there.
