Heston Range

General
This range may be used by full members of the club on the same basis as the existing ranges and in accordance with the clubs range and safety rules.

All flags must be flown when the Heston range is in use. This means of course access is restricted to airgun members only unless a Full club member is in attendance to raise the flags and open the range.

Juniors may only shoot when supervised by an adult member of the club or a Range Officer.
Specific Rules
1.
All shooting on this range will be treated the same as Section (1) Firearms, the Club’s Range Safety Rules apply in handling and firing details.
2.
No guns above the legal limit of 12 ft lbs are permitted to be used on the Heston Range - they revert to being used on the Club’s main 3 ranges. Specific Membership for Airgun only shooting is available.
3.
No other firearms of any type are permitted to be used on the Heston Range.
4.
No ground based targets are permitted forward of the fixed target positions or targets mounted high up on the backstop wall which may cause overshoot into the housing estate behind.
5.
Members leaving the Heston Range must ensure all targets are are returned to the firing point - shutters and door left secure - range left clean and tidy for the next user.
