MEMBERSHIP
Worcester Norton is an extremely popular club, providing as it does unrivalled facilities in the South Midlands area.  Membership is “capped” at 300 currently, which means that sometimes prospective new members have to join a waiting list.

Full members have unlimited access to the ranges, 7 days a week, during shooting hours.  These are 09:00 to 21:00 (or dusk, whichever is earlier) Monday to Saturday and 09:00 to 14:00 on Sundays (club day).  The only restrictions are .22 rimfire only before 10:00 on Sunday mornings (noise control) and no shooting on Christmas day.

Membership costs are:  Full adult membership £124 pa.  Family membership (2+2) £180 pa.  Airgun only membership £32 pa.  There are reduced rates for Juniors (under 18 or under 25 and in full time education).  Probationary membership £75.  Click HERE for details of probationary membership.  Memberships run for 12 months from June 1st and people joining part way through the membership year pay on a pro-rata basis.

There are no range fees.  The only additional charges are for club competition entries - usually just £1 for the Sunday events and £5 (for members, £10 visitors with FAC) for the monthly Saturday mini-rifle and practical shotgun comps. The charge for clay pigeon shooting (casual events) is usually £2.00 per box of cartridges fired, to cover the cost of the clays.  Members and their families have access to the bar and function rooms of the Worcester Norton Sports Club.

Our range safety certificates allow for the use of centre fire calibres up to .577“ (.75” for black powder) with a maximum muzzle velocity of 3275 fps.  Maximum muzzle energy allowed is 5160 ft lbs.
