These pics are from the August Mini-Rifle club competition.  On the start signal shooter had to move forward to a door and engage, through a slot in the door, 2 targets.  Then move to another door and, standing, engage two targets from the L/H side of the door. Next move to a barrier and, kneeling, engage two targets again.  Finally, move to another door and engage two targets through a slot.

All targets were on turner frames running on a pre-programmed sequence.  Too slow or a gun malfunction and you’d no chance of a decent score!  Foot placement  had to be in marked zones.  Two rounds on each target.
OH *******!
The hapless shooter pictured below moved forward at a graceful jog on the start signal, only to regale us with a superb forward dive coupled with an athletic mid air roll, landing in the break dance position.
On a serious note, and to his eternal credit, said shooter kept his rifle pointing down range at all times and there was no AD.
The RO in the pic has just retrieved the rifle whilst losing the struggle to keep a straight face.
Jon (the shooter) was allowed a second go at the course of fire but his rifle jammed. And again, on his third attempt!
The ultimate ‘bad hair’ day?
